Werewolves

The full moon shines among the stars, above fields that seem to hold the light of day. The bright yellow of the earth meets the blue of the night, while the dense paint makes the landscape almost tangible. The werewolf, however, is outside the frame: it is the viewer. The power of the work lies in this reversal of roles, which transforms the viewer into the protagonist. No need to wait for the full moon: your full moon falls every time you encounter the painting. Werewolves.
