Dark Thoughts

What fails to resurface in consciousness often finds refuge in dreams, transforming into anxieties, fears, and cramped spaces. In the work, dark, material masses rise like ruins in an interior landscape, enclosing a suspended, almost unreal yellow sky. The composition draws the gaze toward a central passage, squeezed between shadows, fragments, and threatening presences. In the distance, a small red eye watches motionlessly, embodying what we try to bury yet continues to watch over us. Inspired by the imagery of The Lord of the Rings, the painting transforms fantasy into a metaphor for the mind and its darkest territories.
